Frequently asked questions
How do the classes work?
Our classes are intended to supplement classroom instruction. Classes are free and available to all schools (elementary through university level) that meet on a regular basis with an official teacher of record. We're also available to music education woodwind and brass methods classes, organized community bands, and home school band programs.
The class will be scheduled on a day and time of the director's choosing. You may request a specific artist or we can choose for you based on the needs of your students. If your preferred artist is not available, we'll provide other options.
Please submit your request at least
ten days prior
to your preferred class date. More advance notice and multiple date options are appreciated.
Classes are presented in English. Bilingual artists may be available.
Directors should plan for 45 minutes of instruction including Q & A. Please have students ready to begin at the agreed time.
All classes are virtual via Zoom (or similar platform.) We will be using the best audio, visual, and connectivity tools available to us. However, we expect technical glitches to occur occasionally.
After receiving your request, we will contact you to discuss details and confirm your class.
How and where do I register for the class?

What happens if I need to cancel the class? What happens if the artist cancels?
If you need to cancel for any reason, please send an email to:
firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as you know. A contact phone number will also be provided to registered participants.
If the artist cancels, we'll notify you as soon as possible to reschedule. In some cases, we may be able to provide another artist for your class.
